Function: resolveEvmAccount()

function resolveEvmAccount(config): Account | undefined;

The account a config signs as, or undefined for a read-only one.

Consulted in order of how explicit each source is: an EvmConfig.account the caller built themselves, the account a supplied EvmConfig.walletClient already carries, then one derived from OvercastConfig.privateKey.

Throws

when a walletClient was supplied but no account can be named for it. Falling through to read-only would be the wrong reading of that config — passing a wallet client is a statement that this app signs — and the failure would otherwise surface much later as viem's "account not found".
